MYTHIC FICTION AND CONTEMPORARY URBAN FANTASY
AMERICAN GODS. I love this book. I love the show that’s
based on the book. Neil Gaiman’s world of gods that walk the streets is
incredible. Everything that happens in
the book feels like a great Greek epic in a way. I love how by keeping gods and
worship tied to how humans grow and change, much like language, it makes the
novel feel contemporary and makes you look at how “worship” has changed for
people.
